Welcome to Video Production Class



I am so excited to begin another semester here at Pebblebrook High School and I am thrilled to have you in my class. Video Production is a fun class, full of learning and hands on activities. This course will teach students the basics of camera functions, video editing and filmmaking. Students will work individually and in groups to write, shoot, and edit their own projects. Sample student projects during the semester include PSA’s, commercials, short films, music video and interview segments. Videos are screened during class throughout the semester to enhance the critique process. Students will learn to edit videos using the Adobe Premiere Pro software.

Students will acquire: pre-production skills such as scriptwriting and storyboarding; technical video production skills such as camera operation, audio production, and lighting techniques; and post-production editing skills. Digital Resources

Cobb County School District will close on March 16th due to the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19. Students will now receive instruction in an online format. Audio Video Film Technology I will now transition to using Schoology to complete assignments. Below you will find the class codes.
